We also make several deliveries of fencing materials per week to carriers for Lismore, Mull, Iona, Tiree, Coll, Colonsay and Barra. We will deliver fencing to the Kerrera, Luing and Easdale Island ferries by arrangement.

Garden Fencing Delivered in Argyll

C. Hodge Fencing normally use landrovers and trailers to deliver garden fencing which means that we can access properties which a full sized lorry can’t reach. There are deliveries of garden fencing to Oban every second day and garden fencing is delivered to Lochgilphead, Connel, Taynuilt, Dalmally, Tarbert and Whitehouse twice a week. Campbeltown, Appin, Duror, Seil, and Inveraray and Strachur have deliveries of garden fencing once a week or more often as required. If you need fencing materials delivered to a very inaccessible spot we can arrange special deliveries for you.

Farm and Forestry Fencing Delivered in Argyll

D and J Campbell loaded with fencing materials

Farm and forestry fencing can be delivered as required in dedicated loads using landrover and trailer, 6 wheeler lorry or articulated lorry with or without timber crane as required. D & J Campbell Hauliers based in Connel (01631 710882) will provide variously sized vehicles and some brilliant drivers. We can also offer you the option of having your fencing delivered using tracks suitable for road vehicles or we can organise tracked machines to lay your fencing out or helicopters to airlift rebundled materials to your fenceline.

Material Chosen by Local People for Local Conditions

After 25 years supplying fencing we know which products will withstand local conditions. We choose the posts, wire, net, rails, timbers, decking, gates, electric fencing, handling equipment, cattle grids and fittings to provide our customers with the best value for money. We recognise that the cost of installation is a major part of the cost of the job so our materials are chosen to last. We also recognise that our customers trust us to check the technical specifications or timber treatments and wire specifications to ensure that they are getting a product which doesn’t just look right when new but has been protected against all that the West Coast can throw at it.

Supporting the Local Economy

We aim to encourage sustainability both by reducing our impact on the environment and by promoting and using local businesses and supporting local initiatives. We work closely with nearly 60 contractors and are always happy to help with problems or to encourage start ups. We are involved with the Argyll Fencer’s Co-operative which aims to secure local work for local people.
